O ASN! Don't Use Official Vehicles For Eid Homecoming If You Don't Want To Be Sanctioned

JAKARTA - The government has given permission for state civil servants (ASN) to carry out Lebaran 2022 homecoming. However, the government forbids ASN to go home using official vehicles.

This is in accordance with the circular letter of the Minister of PAN-RB Number 13/2022 regarding leave for ASN employees during the national holiday period and Eid al-Fitr joint leave, ASN is prohibited from using official vehicles for going home.

This rule is applied by the Parigi Moutong Regency Government, Central Sulawesi Province. Regional Secretary Parigi Moutong, Zulfinasran said, there has been no latest official circular from the central government regarding official vehicles that can be used for homecoming.

"This means that the government prohibits the use of state facilities other than for official purposes," said Zulfinasran in Parigi, as reported by Antara, Saturday, April 16. "The government is clear. If there are permanent employees who are desperate to use official vehicles to return home during the Eid homecoming season, then the Regional Government (Pemda) will certainly take action and provide witnesses according to the regulations concerning ASN," said Zulfinasran.

Therefore, he invites all officials to use state facilities wisely, especially officials in the office and agency environment.

According to him, the essence of official vehicles is only used to support government activities to facilitate the mobilization of officials. Not for personal or group interests.
