TANGERANG - The Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Komarudin, said that he was still investigating the allegations of the person riding to pay the students to conduct a demonstration at the Indonesian House of Representatives.

"So far, we are still checking the discussion on the conversation on his cellphone. Yes, there are languages of money, there are," said Komarudin to reporters at the Tangerang Metro Police, Monday, April 11.

"There are some, there are no money, and there are those who say they will guarantee that they will be given money later and we will continue to investigate," he continued.

Komarudin also revealed that based on the statements of several students who were detained, the amount paid was only tens of thousands of rupiah. However, they will continue to investigate the case.

"For the amount, it can only be said that it is a guarantee. If it is submitted, it is only in the range of tens of thousands," he said.

He said that the invitation message given to the student was informed via WhatsApp message. Therefore, they will continue to investigate the case.

"Meanwhile there are those through WhatsApp, japri (personal answers) and so on. They are still in the circle of friends, but we will definitely continue to develop them. If from this group there is an adjustment or an invitation to one name, then we will explore it further," he explained.

Komarudin said that his party managed to secure 86 students suspected of wanting to stage a demonstration in the DPR RI. However, 26 of them are underage and dominated by residents of Tangerang Regency.

"Until now, there are 86 minors, school children, and non-students. Meanwhile, the highest from Teluk Naga is up to 26 school children," he said.
