Coming To Medan, Ganjar Pranowo Explores Cooking Oil Cooperation With Governor Edy

MEDAN - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo is exploring cooperation in cooking oil with North Sumatra Governor (Gubsu) Edy Rahmayadi. As one of the regions that produce the most cooking oil, Ganjar feels that this cooperation is necessary.

"Speaking of food, including cooking oil, North Sumatra has a lot of cooking oil, sir, we don't consume a lot, we only consume a lot if the production is here, how do we finish it," he said after meeting Governor Edy in Medan, Friday, April 8 .

Ganjar admitted that based on the results of talks with Gubsu Edy, there were many things that could be collaborated between North Sumatra and Central Java.

In addition to discussing opportunities for cooperation, Ganjar also admitted that he had learned a lot from Edy Rahmayadi, who was more senior.

"He (Edy) who is more senior in age has a lot of experience, we exchange ideas. What we can cooperate between North Sumatra and Central Java, we are both learning to build each other's regions," continued this PDIP politician.

Ganjar also told his experience of eating culinary in Medan, he also admitted that he fell in love.

"Yesterday when I was breaking fast, I ate banana heart with kecombrang," he said.

After leaving the city of Medan, North Sumatra, Ganjar said he would continue his trip to Aceh to meet the Chancellor of the Malikussaleh University.

"The Chancellor wants to become a professor, the invitation has been long, I am with the UGM Chancellor because he is also the Kagama as well as the inauguration of the Kagama Aceh board. So look for opportunities in any portion," he said.

Edy Rahmayadi on that occasion said there are many things that can be collaborated between North Sumatra and Central Java.

"The population of Central Java is twice that of North Sumatra, so we can work together later," he said.
