JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDIP Bappilu Bambang Wuryanto reminded the main task of the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, to take care of maritime and investment issues. So it is not appropriate to join in on politics, especially about postponing elections.

But because of that Luhut, the man who is familiarly called Bambang Pacul, mentioned that he has strong political power. So the public is welcome to judge for themselves.

"If Mr. Luhut is okay, you can evaluate yourself. Many people say he is the prime minister. The main minister. The coordinating minister is the main minister, the boss. But people also understand very well how strong Mr. Luhut is. His political power is strong," said Bambang Pacul, quoted as saying Friday, April 8th.

Bambang also gave an example of how strong Luhut is in government. For example, when President Joko Widodo asked to stop coal exports. However, Luhut instead 'corrected' the President's statement and ordered it to be reopened. "I think it's clear, political people also understand. Of course if he's from here, we both understand. We understand, we understand. But we can't do anything," he said. Megawati's subordinates then reminded Jokowi's ministers, including Luhut to be aware of their respective positions so as not to go too far or offside in giving statements to the public.
