JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga together with a number of Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet held a working meeting with the Legislative Body of the House of Representatives today.

The presence of several ministers representing President Joko Widodo to deliver an explanation of the Problem Inventory List (DIM) on the Draft Law on the Second Amendment to Law Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Formation of Legislations (RUU PPP).

Airlangga emphasized that the government is serious about discussing the revision of the PPP Law. According to him, the completion of the amendment to the PPP Law is the basis for the revision of the Job Creation Law (Ciptaker) which the Constitutional Court (MK) has declared conditionally unconstitutional.

He asked the government and the DPR to immediately discuss and agree on changes to the PPP Law.

"The completion of the Bill on the Second Amendment to Law Number 12 of 2011 should be completed and agreed upon as soon as possible, as the basis for drafting an amendment to the Job Creation Law," said Coordinating Minister Airlangga in an electronic message received by journalists, Jakarta, Thursday, April 7.

Coordinating Minister Airlangga emphasized that the government shares the same view as the DPR to immediately complete the discussion of the PPP Bill.
