Independent Isolation Resident, Anies: Put Up A Notice Board In Front Of The House

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan asked the local village head to post or put up announcements for residents who are self-isolating in their homes.

This is stated in the Governor's Decree Number 980 of 2020 concerning Management of Controlled Isolation in the context of Handling COVID-19.

"The procedure is that the village head will attach or post an announcement of 'currently conducting independent isolation' on the door that is easily visible," Anies was quoted as saying in the Governor's Decree on Thursday, October 1.

The location of the individual's independent isolation is supervised by the village head and involves the RT / RW task force or other parties deemed capable.

"Discipline enforcement is carried out together with related agencies if there is a violation in the controlled isolation process at other facilities," he said.

Separately, the Head of the DKI Health Service said that there are a number of eligibility requirements for independent isolation locations that must be met. These conditions will be assessed by the local COVID-19 task force.

If the eligibility for self-isolation places is not sufficient, the local task force will ask the individual to move to the provided place.

If they do not want to be referred for isolation other than their home, the local task force will report to security personnel for forced pickup.

"If they do not want to be referred to a controlled isolation location, the health officer will inform the local task force to carry out a forced pick-up with Satpol PP, police, TNI, and related elements," said Widyastuti.

However, if the independent isolation location meets the requirements, then the individual can undergo self-isolation by applying health protocols.

The following are the minimum requirements or standards for a place that can be used as independent isolation in the form of a house or private facility:

1. Approval from the owner of the house / facility / person in charge of the building

2. Recommendations from the local RT / RW COVID-19 handling task force and determined by the local village head as head of the urban village task force

3. There is no resistance from local residents

4. The task force for handling COVID-19 in the region can ensure the implementation of independent isolation according to health protocols

5. Only inhabited by people with confirmed COVID-19 without symptoms or mild symptoms

6. The location of the isolation room is separate from other residents

7. There is an en suite bathroom

8. Fluid from mouth / nose or mouthwash, urine, and feces of people who are self-isolating is immediately disposed of in the sink or toilet waste water outlet and flown into a septic tank

9. For eating, drinking, and other personal utensils used by self-isolating people, soap / detergent must be washed and the waste water from the laundry is disposed of into the sewerage.

10. Not in a crowded settlement and there is a distance of more than 2 meters from other houses

11. Rooms do not use carpets / rugs

12. Air circulation runs well and comfortable

13. Availability of adequate clean running water

14. The existence of a network of cooperation with task force units (regional stakeholders, TNI, Polri, and local Puskesmas)

15. There is four-wheeled vehicle access

16. Buildings and locations are safe from other hazards, such as floods, fires, and landslides.
