COVID-19 Sleman: 86 Yellow Zone Villages, 7 Red Zones, 6 Orange Zones And 7 Green Zones

SLEMAN - The district-level COVID-19 zoning map in Sleman Regency noted that 86 sub-districts in the region were in the yellow zone as of Sunday, April 3. The map was compiled by the Sleman Health Office.

"From the COVID-19 epidemiological map published by the Sleman Health Service, currently, out of 86 sub-districts, there are 66 sub-districts or 76.8 percent of which are COVID-19 yellow zones", said Sleman District COVID-19 Task Force Spokesperson, Shavitri Nurmaladewi, in Sleman, Wednesday, April 6.

According to her, for the sub-districts that are still in the COVID-19 red zone in Sleman, there are currently seven sub-districts or 8.1 percent.

"The seven red zone villages are Banyurejo, Caturtunggal, Pondokrejo, Sendangagung, Sendangmulyo, Sendangrejo, and Sendangsari Village", she said, as reported by Antara.

She said there were six or 6.97 percent of the orange zone villages, namely Bokoharjo, Glagaharjo, Kalitirto, Lumbungrejo, Madurejo, and Sumberadi Village.

"There is currently seven or 8.1 percent of the villages that have COVID-19 green zones, including Margokaton, Sendangarum, Sumberarum, Sumbersari, Sumberagung, Sumberrahayu and Sindumartani Village", she said.

Shavitri said that during the last two weeks there had been a significant decrease in the number of COVID-19 cases so it affected the Kalurahan zoning map in Sleman Regency.

"Yesterday (Tuesday 5 April) there were only six positive confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 20 patients being declared cured and one person dying. Then today there were 23 positive confirmed cases, 20 recovered and no patient died", she said.

She said that the Sleman Regency Government is currently still extending the status of Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

"This is based on the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 20 of 2022 concerning PPKM Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1 COVID-19 in the Java and Bali Region, which is valid from April 5 to 18, 2022", she concluded.
