BPJS Health Is Considered Less Active In Informing Participants' Arrears

BOGOR - Deputy Regent of Bogor Iwan Setiawan views that information on arrears in contributions from the Social Security Administration for Health (BPJS) is important for the community. He requested that the BPJS actively inform.

"Information on arrears is important so that it can make it easier for the public in the payment and management process. So they can pay their dues regularly, not only when they are sick, so the service becomes difficult," said Iwan after an audience with BPJS Kesehatan Cibinong Branch in Cibinong, Bogor, Tuesday, April 5.

He said that when BPJS Kesehatan was active in providing information regarding arrears, participants could immediately make payments before experiencing difficulties when they wanted to use the National Health Insurance (JKN) facility.

The reason is, from the results of the hearing, it is known that the cause of BPJS Health's services being substandard and optimal, one of which is because many BPJS Health membership statuses are inactive due to premium arrears.

"From this meeting, we can find out the factors that cause community difficulties in getting BPJS Health services," said Iwan, as quoted by Antara.

Even so, according to him, the Bogor Regency Government is ready to increase the synergy with BPJS Kesehatan Cibinong Branch to provide easy and excellent health services to the people of Bogor.

Meanwhile, the Head of BPJS Kesehatan Cibinong Branch, Ondrio Nas explained that the principle of BPJS is mutual cooperation and cross subsidies. He admitted that he was ready to increase collaboration with the Bogor Regency Government to provide easy and excellent services.

"We are representatives of the central government in the regions, we are also the same government, ready to help and collaborate with the Bogor Regency Government," said Ondrio Nas.
