Joking Too Much, The Child's Leg At Pasar Rebo Is Allegedly Burned By A Playmate

JAKARTA - An eight-year-old child in Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, suffered burns to his legs. The wound came from three of his friends who allegedly intentionally burned the victim's leg.

The Head of Pasar Rebo Police, Kompol Marbun, said the incident occurred Tuesday, March 29. It started when the victim and his friends were playing and joking.

“So that person was playing a joke. The names are children joking with each other, burn it, burn it, "said Marbun when confirmed, Sunday, April 3.

Marbun said that his party could not confirm the condition of the victim's injuries. However, he said that both parties had mediated and agreed to make peace.

"So it has been communicated with his family. Both parents and their children have forgiven each other, have made peace," he said.

Marbun said that based on the testimony of witnesses in the field, the perpetrator had no bad intentions, just joking with the victim.

"That's a fellow friend playing around. There's no problem. So it's intentionally joking (to burn). There is no intention to hurt. Joking, joking, "he said.

Therefore, even though there has been an agreement to make peace, his party will continue to explore the incident.

He said the victim's parents would be questioned today. This is to ensure whether the peace gets pressure from the other party or not.

"That's why I told the victim's parents to go to the office even though there was an agreement with the RT/RW," he said.
