JAKARTA - Senior politician Amien Rais emphasized that the duet of Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan must end in October 2024. This duet is called Amien Rais bringing badness to the Indonesian nation.

"The Jokowi-Luhut duet actually has to end in October 2024. So after that, it is no longer allowed for these two individuals to carry out various kinds of New Order-style methods. We still remember how our people were fooled to achieve an evil political goal," said Amien Rais in his statement via Youtube Amien Rais Official, Saturday, April 2.

For Amien Rais, the Jokowi regime assisted by Luhut Pandjaitan is a paranoid regime. Jokowi is accused by Amien Rais of always feeling insecure with himself so that he uses various ways to cover his weaknesses.

"I'm really sorry to see our current situation. The movement of all village heads from all over Indonesia, later also associations, national exponents, farmers, fishermen, laborers, this is an empty way, false substance has no weight because it is very artificial," said Amien Rais.

Amien Rais also touched on the nation's division in the Jokowi era. For Amien Rais, the opposition has always been silenced.

"It is very possible that Jokowi-Luhut have a paranoid psychic illness because of possible mistakes and various injustices that the duo has committed for this great nation. So far, as long as Jokowi is in power, the nation divides, pro Jokowi is appointed, the opposition, including ulama, ustaz, kiai, is muzzled and criminalized," said Amien Rais.
