Bobby Nasution: The Islamic Center Has Not Been Realized For A Long Time, I Built It On 100 Hectares Of Land

JAKARTA - Candidate for Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution, talked about the plan to build an Islamic Center. According to the son-in-law of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), the Islamic Center has been a discourse for too long, therefore he is targeting realized development.

This was revealed by Bobby on his Instagram account. Bobby had visited residents in Tangkahan Village, Medan Labuhan. He got a lot of input and aspirations from the community that I got, one of which was the problem of building an Islamic Center.

"It turns out that the construction of the Islamic Center has been discussed for a long time, but until now it has not been realized. Even though the people of Medan Labuhan really hope there is an Islamic Center in their area, "said Bobby as quoted from Instagram bobbynst, Tuesday, September 29.

"Hearing the aspirations of the community, Bang Aulia and I have targeted to build an Islamic Center on Jalan Rawe VII, Kelurahan Tangkahan, Medan Labuhan with an area of up to 100 hectares," he continued.

Bobby, who is paired with Aulia Rachman in the Medan Regional Head Election, hopes that the Islamic Center will soon be established. Apart from being a center for preaching and Islamic studies, it will also be a religious tourism destination that will generate a populist economy in the city of Medan.

"Please pray and support us so that our dreams can be realized soon," he said.

Bobby called the Islamic Center a religious institution that has become a center for the fostering and development of Islam as a platform for the implementation of da'wah.
