Residents Of Semper Jakut Battling Sickles From Thieves Who Tried To Snatch Their Nmax Motorbike

JAKARTA - The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilincing Police, AKP Alex Chandra, has spoken about the attempted robbery that resulted in a resident of Semper Barat, North Jakarta, sustaining severe injuries to his arms and stomach from a sharp weapon.

The victim, known as Ari Bewok, suffered injuries to his hands and stomach as a result of being hit by a sharp knife. The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, March 30 at the Marunda gas station area, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

"Yes, that's right, we are still chasing the perpetrators. The point is there are 3 perpetrators," said Alex when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, March 30.

Alex explained that the victim suffered a stab wound to the arm because he was trying to fend off a sickle. However, the white Nmax motorbike belonging to the victim has not been taken by the perpetrators.

"He was hacked by the arm. But the motorbike has not been taken," said Alex.

The attempted robbery went viral on social media. In the video, the victim is seen sitting near the Marunda gas station, Cilincing, North Jakata. Not far away, a white Nmax motorcycle covered in the victim's blood was seen.

Residents who saw immediately helped him to be taken to Koja Hospital. To get medical help.
