BANTEN - The police arrested four perpetrators with the initials MU (36 years), TFD (28), DP (25) and AA (41) on suspicion of stealing a car door specialist.

Dirreskrimum Polda Banten Kombes Pol Ade Rahmat Idnal said the arrest took place at his contract, in Ciruas, Serang Regency, Wednesday, March 16, at 04.30 WIB.

"Four people were arrested. They are specialists in prying car doors and targeting bank customers," Ade said when confirmed, Wednesday, March 30.

Ade explained that the perpetrators acted by looking for targets and following 4-wheeled vehicles from the start of entering the bank. When the victim was caught off guard, the perpetrators immediately took action and prying open the car door of the vehicle.

"When the victim was careless, the perpetrator immediately pry open the door of the victim's vehicle, then the perpetrator took the victim's money," he said.

The Banten Police Resmob team, who received the report of the theft, immediately moved quickly and investigated the case. As a result, four perpetrators were arrested.

Based on the perpetrator's confession, the suspects had stolen Rp.892 million from various locations. Later, the proceeds of the crime are used for everyday life.

"In Tangerang it was Rp. 680 million, in Lebak it was Rp. 182 million. In Labuan Pandeglang it was Rp. 30 million," he explained.

The perpetrators are subject to article 363 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with a weight which is punishable by a maximum imprisonment of 7 years.
