JAKARTA - The Drug Investigation Unit (Resnarkoba) of the East Jakarta Metro Police uncovered the smuggling of marijuana-type narcotics by land on Jalan Bimoli Muara Karang, Penjaringan Subdistrict, North Jakarta.

Deputy Head of East Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Fanani explained that his party was still pursuing one suspect with the initials SP (DPO) who was allegedly the supplier of the dried marijuana.
"The marijuana was smuggled along with expeditionary goods from Medan, North Sumatra. We confiscated a truck containing dried marijuana on the land route," AKBP Fanani told reporters, Wednesday, March 30.
Currently, the case is still under development by the East Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Drug Research at the East Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Gunarto, added that the two suspects were suspected of being couriers for delivering illicit goods of dried marijuana. However, both have inter-island networks in Indonesia.
