BPK Checks Thousands Of Vehicle Assets At The Tulungagung Regency Government

TULUNGAGUNG - The Supreme Audit Agency examined 2,600 units of official vehicles belonging to the Tulungagung Regency Government, East Java.

Asset audit with tight security in the courtyard of the Lembupeteng GOR, west side of Tulungagung City. Residents can also see the inspection activities by the BPK team.

There are thousands of state-owned vehicles parked in a row, ranging from motorcycles, three-wheeled motorcycles, official cars, to garbage trucks.

Tulungagung Regent Maryoto Birowo explained the inspection to determine the suitability of the use of official vehicles.

"Service vehicles based on the inherent provisions must be maintained properly," he said.

He said many of the official vehicles were old. Some of these old official vehicles are in a state of disrepair, and are left in the corner of the office.

"If it is damaged as long as it can be repaired first," he said.

Official vehicles can be auctioned if they are over 5 years old. Vehicles that are abolished by auction are those that are old, such as the Honda Win type.
