JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya said it would take action against all vehicles violating the speed limit rules on toll roads. Although, the driver is a member of the TNI-Polri to the Ministry.

"It applies, everything applies the same as odd-even," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Tuesday, March 29.

Later, a ticket and proof of violation will be sent to the agency where the violator works. This is because all vehicles have been recorded in the police database.

"We will send it to the agency because it matches what is in the house address database," said Sambodo.

In this rule, the maximum speed limit is 100 km per hour. Supervision in this rule uses E-TLE.

For the time being, there are five toll roads to which the regulation will apply, including the Jakarta-Cikampek upper lane or Muhammed Bin Zayed and the lower lane. Then, the Sudiatmo toll road towards the airport, the inner city toll road, and the Kunciran-Cengkareng toll road section.

The prosecution will start on April 1st. Violators will be given a fine with a fine of Rp. 500 thousand.

"Violating Article 287 paragraph 5 of the LLAJ Law with the threat of 2 months imprisonment and a fine of Rp. 500 thousand," said Sambodo.
