Slowly But Surely, The Aceh Police Say The Second Dose Of COVID-19 Vaccination Continues To Increase, It's Already 2.6 Million People

ACEH - The Aceh Regional Police stated that the achievement of the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine vaccination in the police jurisdiction has reached 64.64 percent or 2.6 million people, more than the target of four million people.

"The achievement of vaccinations in the jurisdiction of the Aceh Regional Police continues to increase. Data as of March 27, 2022, the achievement of the second dose of vaccine vaccination is more than 2.6 million people or 64.64 percent", said Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Commissioner Winardy, in Banda Aceh, Antara, Monday, March 28.

Meanwhile, the achievement of the first dose, said Commissioner Winardy, was 3.875 million people or 96.20 percent. And the third dose or booster as much as 267,170 or 6.63 percent.

The increase said Winardy, also occurred in the vaccination of children aged six to 11 years. Until now, the achievement of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine vaccination for children has reached 73.68 percent.

"The achievement of childhood vaccinations shows a positive trend and meets the national target of 70 percent. Even though it exceeds the national target, the Aceh Police continue to increase this achievement to 100 percent", said Commissioner.

Likewise, the achievement of COVID-19 vaccine vaccination for the elderly, said Commissioner Pol Winardy, based on the latest data, the first dose has reached 288,943 people or 85.20 percent.

"Meanwhile, the second dose was 185,103 people or 54.58 percent, and the third dose or booster was 10,395 or 3.07 percent. For the booster dose, the Aceh Police together with partners continue to improve their achievements", he said.

The middle-ranking officer of the Aceh Regional Police said that the enthusiasm of the community to participate in vaccination in the westernmost province of Indonesia remained high. The proof is that 49,880 people were vaccinated at 304 outlets on March 27, 2022.

"We urge people who have not been vaccinated to immediately visit outlets to participate in the vaccination, the target for achieving the overall dose can be met immediately", said Commissioner.
