Hit Hard On The Head, Father And 2 Children Died In An Accident On The Way To The Palangpang Beach Tourism Location, Sukabumi

SUKABUMI - A father and his two children died after having a fatal accident while traveling to the Ciletuh Geopark tourist attraction, to be precise at Palangpang Beach, Ciemas District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java.

"The death toll from an accident involving two motorbikes in Ciemas sub-district became three people, initially only one, but two more died in hospital," said the Head of Law Enforcement Unit (Gakum) of the Sukabumi Police Traffic Unit, Ipda M Yanuar Fajar in Sukabumi, Antara, Monday, March 28.

The accident victim is a resident of Kutakidul Village, Kutasari Village, Sukabumi. Yusuf Santosa (45) with his two children, AF (7) and AR (15) initially wanted to travel to Palangpang Beach using a Honda Vario motorbike.

In addition to bringing his two children, Yusuf also invited two of his relatives, Anindia Zikri (15) and Rendi Maulana (15). The two relatives agreed to his invitation and set off on a Supra motorbike.

Finally, this family left for Palangpang Beach using two motorbikes. Initially, the journey from home to the UNESCO Global Geopark Ciletuh Palabuhanratu tourist attraction area went smoothly.

However, when crossing Jalan Raya Geopark Ciletuh, precisely in Kampung Cikoreang, where the road conditions were downhill and cornering, Yusuf could not control his motorcycle. The motorbike then swerved to the right of the road and collided with the Honda Supra motorbike driven by Anindia.

As a result of the collision, Yusuf and his two children and two of his relatives fell from the motorcycle.

Unfortunately for Yusuf, his head hit the asphalt and died on the spot. Both of her children suffered serious head injuries.

Residents who saw a traffic accident immediately provided assistance and evacuated all victims to the Palabuhanratu Hospital. Two of Yusuf's children, who were initially critical, eventually followed his father and were declared dead while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Meanwhile, two of his relatives, Anindia and Rendi, only suffered abrasions. The bodies of the father and his two children have been returned to the funeral home in Cisaat District for immediate burial.

"The death of the three victims was due to severe head injuries and internal injuries. According to the results of the accident scene, the victim did not know the road conditions, so he could not control his motorcycle," said Yanuar.

He appealed to motorists who want to go to the Ciletuh Geopark tourist attraction to be careful, because there are many environments accompanied by steep inclines and descents.

Then pay attention to the condition of the vehicle such as the engine, brakes and others and if you are sleepy or tired, it is better to take a break to restore stamina.
