The Lampung Tulang Bawang Police Personnel Got OTT, Allegedly Asking The Community For Something About The Case

LAMPUNG - The Profession and Security Division (Propam) of the Lampung Police carried out a hand arrest operation (OTT) for police personnel at the Tulang Bawang Police Station, Lampung.

"Yes, a few days ago we conducted an OTT at one of the police stations in Lampung," said Head of Propam Polda Lampung Kombes M Syarhan in Bandarlampung, Antara, Monday, March 28.

Unfortunately, Syarhan has not been able to explain in detail the unlawful acts committed by the member. Currently the Lampung Police Propam is still conducting a number of investigations. "We can't give details yet, because it's still in-depth," he said.

However, he confirmed that the personnel were exposed to OTT because they had carried out inappropriate behavior as members of the National Police.

According to him, as a member of the National Police, these personnel have requested something from the community who should have enforced the law but instead it was misused.

"It is certain that these personnel made efforts that we think are inappropriate as members of the National Police. Asking for something from the community who should be carrying out law enforcement is actually being misused," he said.

Syarhan added that the Propam Division will take firm action against its personnel if there is a game case that is being handled.

"Members who should be guilty are not guilty and members who should be tried are not on trial, I will take strict action. Moreover, when I find out that members have received payments to enforce these naughty personnel, I guarantee that I will take firm action. In essence, we did not take any action. firm outside of Bid Propam but I take firm action against my members," he said.

The Chief of the Tulang Bawang Police, AKBP Hujra Soumena, confirmed that some of his members were affected by OTT by the Lampung Regional Police Propam. But he could not explain in detail because it was being handled by internal security (paminal).

"Yes, it's true, but I can't explain because it's being handled by the paminal," he said.
