Many Want To Know Political Developments, PAN Chairman Meets With Muhammadiyah And NU After Visiting Gibran

SOLO - Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan alias Zulhas has a number of agendas in Solo Raya until April 1. This was conveyed by him after visiting the Mayor (Walkot) of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming at the official residence in Loji Gandrung Solo, Monday, March 28 morning.

After meeting Gibran, Zulhas will hold an internal meeting with PAN officials in Solo. Continue to visit leaders of Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) organizations.

"Of course internal consolidation, as well as conveying the latest political developments to central, regional and Muhammadiyah leaders, MTA, NU, and others. Because many also want to know about various things," Zulhas was quoted as saying from the Surakarta News YouTube account, Monday 28 March.

Zulhas said that in Solo Raya he also gave directions to party members bearing the white sun symbol to help and support government policies in the midst of the pandemic.

"I've met PAN cadres in Solo Raya. Wherever, central, regional, help the government because it's not easy for us to be a pandemic, even though it's now leading to an endemic, but the impact is heavy, therefore, I ask friends our friend DPRD is helping the government," he said.

In addition to party affairs, Zulhas admitted that he had arranged a schedule to meet with regional heads. The agenda will be carried out after meeting Gibran.

"I also met the local government, I entrusted one; Muhammadiyah, two; Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), because these two gave birth to Indonesia. If Muhammadiyah-NU is strong, we are stable, build, hopefully Indonesia will become a developed country," he said.

Regarding his meeting with Gibran, Zulhas did not explain further. He only said the closed meeting was just discussing simple things while eating together.

"But earlier, they said that the Jakartans had not eaten Soto Gading and Tengkleng. It meant that they had not been to Solo. Thank you for both [already provided]. Fortunately, the mayor is close to me," said Zulhas.
