Overcoming COVID-19, Jokowi: This Problem Is Too Big For The Government To Solve Alone

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo said that in overcoming the problem of COVID-19 transmission, we must work together. Thus, the cohesiveness of all elements in overcoming this problem must be put forward.

"Everything needs our cohesiveness together. This issue is too big for the government to solve alone," said Jokowi at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, as reported by Antara, Saturday, September 26.

"We must unite, one determination, one spirit, one line in facing this difficult situation," said the President.

The President hopes that Parmusi cadres throughout the country will move together with other elements of the nation to protect themselves, protect the health of the people, and protect the safety of the nation and state.

"So that we can immediately recover and get back up," he said.

The President pointed out that there is no other way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 other than discipline in carrying out health protocols, discipline in carrying out new habits that are safe from COVID-19.

He emphasized the importance of implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle to prevent transmission of the disease.

"Wearing a mask, maintaining distance, washing hands frequently, maintaining ablution, staying away from crowds, including not holding activities that gather large crowds," he said.
