South Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office Help Solve Land Asset Problems At UIN Antasari

BANJARMASIN - The South Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati Kalsel) is trying to help resolve the problem of land assets that stands on the magnificent building of the State Islamic University (UIN) Antasari Banjarmasin on Campus II, Banjarbaru City.

"We are providing legal assistance regarding the settlement of land asset problems at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin on Campus II, which is currently under construction," said Head of the South Kalimantan Attorney General's Office (Kajati), Mukri, in Banjarmasin, Antara, Friday, March 25.

The land assets for the location of the new UIN Antasari building were obtained from a grant from the South Kalimantan Provincial Government which had previously been implemented. Along the way, it is hoped that there will be no obstacles related to asset ownership, so as not to interfere with the lecture process at the state-owned campus.

Mukri called his party as the State Attorney (JPN) in Civil and State Administrative Cases to represent UIN Antasari Banjarmasin based on a special power of attorney, both as plaintiffs and defendants, which were carried out in litigation and non-litigation through the signing of the mutual agreement that had been made.

Including the prosecutor as a mediator or facilitator if there is a dispute or dispute between UIN Antasari Banjarmasin and other parties, both government institutions and the private sector.

"The cooperation that has been established is also related to increasing joint competence, namely by carrying out educational and training activities, workshops, seminars and socialization including education and legal information as needed," he said accompanied by the Assistant for Civil and State Administration at the South Kalimantan High Court, Firmansyah Subhan.

The Chancellor of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin Prof. Mujiburrahman said the legal assistance provided by the South Kalimantan Attorney's Office was very necessary so that his party did not take wrong steps regarding legal issues in the civil and state administration fields.

It is hoped that the construction process of the Campus II Antasari UIN Building which is currently running will not experience obstacles, so that it can be completed on time as planned.

Campus II UIN Antasari Banjarmasin on Jalan Pandarapan Tambak Geronggong, Guntung Manggis Village, Landasan Ulin District, Banjarbaru City stands on an area of 73 hectares.

The construction of nine buildings has been carried out in stages since March 2020 and is planned to be operational in 2023 to increase the student capacity and various other facilities, apart from the Banjarmasin Campus.
