CILACAP - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the dry season will begin to hit the southern part of Central Java and the central mountains of Central Java on July 1-10 2022.
The head of the BMKG Technician Group for the Tunggul Wulung Meteorological Station in Cilacap, Teguh Wardoyo, said that in the Central Java region the dry season is generally predicted to start in May 2022.
According to him, areas that have the opportunity to enter the dry season first include the cities of Tegal and Pekalongan; parts of the northern part of the regencies of Tegal, Pemalang, and Pekalongan; and parts of northwestern Batang.
These areas are predicted to enter the dry season in the first month of April 2022.
