8 Suspects In Human Cage Case Lead To Death At Langkat Regent's House Publish Plans To Warn The Winds To Be Called By The Police

MEDAN - The North Sumatran Police have named 8 people as suspects in the case of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO) in the cage belonging to the Regent of Langkat.

The Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Kombes Hadi Wahyudi, said that after the determination, his party would immediately examine all the suspects. Previously, the North Sumatran Police had examined the eight suspects in human cages as witnesses.

"Previously we have examined the 8 people as witnesses. Later we will call and examine them as suspects according to the results of the case title this afternoon," said Kombes Hadi confirmed by VOI, Monday, March 21, evening.

However, Kombes Hadi has not been able to explain the date of the scheduled examination of the eight people as suspects.

In this case, the North Sumatran Police have also questioned the head of the Langkat DPRD, Sribana Warin-angin, who is also the sister of the Regent of Terbit Plan. When asked about his role in the case, Kombes Hadi was also reluctant to explain in detail.

"Later, we will convey the full role regarding the role," he explained.

It is known that the Directorate of General Crime (Dit Reskrimum) of the North Sumatra Police has named 8 people as suspects in the case of the deaths of 8 occupants of a cage owned by the Regent, who issued a Wind War Plan. The determination was based on the results of the case title carried out by the Investigation Team of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation.

"The results of the investigation of the Ditreskrimum investigator on Monday, March 21 related to the detention of the Regent of the Inactive TRP, the North Sumatra Police have named 8 suspects," said Kombes Hadi.

Kombes Hadi said that the eight suspects were HS, IS, TS, RG, JS, DP, SP and HG. Of the total suspects, 7 of them namely HS, IS, TS, RG, JS, DP and HG were the perpetrators who died in the TIP process.

"Against the 7 suspects, namely HS, IS, TS, RG, JS, DP and HG, they are charged with Article 7 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 21/2007 concerning the eradication of the criminal act of trafficking in persons with a penalty of 15 years plus a third of the principal threat," he explained.

Meanwhile, the suspects that SP and TS are holders of TIP will be subject to Article 2 of the Republic of Indonesia Law number 21/2007. The threat of punishment, said Kombes Hadi, is a maximum of 15 years in prison.

"The suspect's initials TS were charged in these two cases," said Kombes Hadi.
