COVID-19 Healing In Bantul Reaches 68,595 People, Positive Cases Remaining 2,677

JAKARTA - Active cases of COVID-19 or those undergoing isolation in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, are decreasing day by day. As of Sunday, the number remains 2,677 people.

Based on data from the Bantul COVID-19 Task Force, there were 56 confirmed positive cases in a day, while 191 confirmed cases were declared cured.

The additional new cases include the most from Bambanglipuro District, nine people, followed by Banguntapan, Bantul and Kasihan with seven each, while the most recovered patients are 46 people from Bantul and 27 from Pandak.

However, for confirmed cases of COVID-19 who died in Bantul in the last 24 hours, there were zero people or no case reports.

With the development of daily cases, the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Bantul since the beginning of the pandemic until now has accumulated 72,952 people, with a recovery rate of 68,595 people, while the total death cases still recorded 1,680 people.

Thus, the number of active COVID-19 cases or patients who are still undergoing independent isolation or quarantine in hospitals and integrated shelters in the Bantul area for healing was recorded at 2,677 people spread across 17 sub-districts in Bantul.

It was also stated that the Bantul COVID-19 vaccination coverage as of March 20, for dose one was 787,334 people or 87.54 percent of the total target of 899,352 people, while for dose two, 753,682 people were vaccinated, or 83.80 percent.

Meanwhile, for the third dose or booster vaccine in Bantul, 68,856 people or 9.15 percent of the total target of 752,225 people have been realized.
