PPP Targets Women Voters, Ready To Wrestle In The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - PPP General Chair Suharso Monoarfa said PPP would rise in the upcoming 2024 election by targeting women voters and targeting women candidates from PPP who were elected as much as 30 percent.

"God willing, PPP will emerge in the upcoming 2024 election," said Suharso Monoarfa in Jambi when opening a political marketing workshop held by PPP in Jambi Province, Saturday, March 19, quoted from Antara.

He also said that in the near future the DPP management would list the names of legislative candidates (caleg) and then after that, evaluate the candidates who are ready to fight in the upcoming 2024 general election.

He said it was not easy to fill 30 percent of women, PPP would be a party that is responsive to women.

The United Development Party will immediately target female voters in the upcoming elections. This was conveyed by PPP Chairman Suharso Monoarfa at the Political Marketing Workshop held by PPP Jambi Province.

Suharso Monoarfa also said that in the upcoming 2024 election, he will target 30 percent of elected female candidates.

"We ensure that 30 percent of women will sit in parliament," he said.

Regarding the target of seats in the upcoming legislative elections in Jambi, Ketum PPP Suharso said he would target 6-8 seats and one seat for the DPR-RI.

"We hope to increase the number of seats in the upcoming 2024 election," said Suharso.

The General Chairperson of the PPP DPP, Suharso Monoarfa who is also the Minister of National Development Planning (PPN) was present with the Secretary of the PPP DPP, Arwani Thomafi and other administrators.

Interestingly, in his remarks in front of PPP cadres in Jambi, PPP chairman Suharso Monoarfa prayed that the Jambi Province PPP DPW Chair, Muhammad Fadhil Arif, could become the ruler of Jambi.

Furthermore, in his briefing, Suharso reminded PPP cadres to prepare for the 2024 General Election.

One way to prepare for this is by holding a political marketing workshop for the Jambi PPP management and cadres.

"I hope that with this workshop the way of working can change, the cadres can understand the current political situation and conditions, then take steps for the good of the party," said Suharso Monoarfa.
