He said, based on the results of monitoring in a number of mini markets, the price of packaged cooking oil in the area rose from Rp. 14,000 per liter to Rp. 23,900 per liter.

"Like the Fortune brand packaged cooking oil, the increase varied, some rose to Rp. 22 thousand per liter, then to Rp. 23,500 per liter," he said.

He added, while the availability of cooking oil in the area is certain to be sufficient to meet the needs of the community.

He appealed to the public not to wholesale or buy cooking oil in large quantities. The act of hoarding can harm many people and is an act of violation.

"Because there are actually around 100 cooking oil that will enter Belitung at this time it is still in the process of being shipped," he said.
