Ask Bojongkoneng Residents To Report If Intimidated, House Commission III: Later We Will Forward To The Chief Of Police

JAKARTA - Commission III of the House of Representatives invites residents of Bojongkoneng and Cijayanti who often receive verbal and nonverbal intimidation and terror from individuals who support land dispute conflicts by Sentul City developers to complain to parliament.

"Just report if there is intimidation experienced by the community, report it to Commission III, we will forward it to the National Police Chief," said Deputy Chairman of Commission III DPR Adies when meeting residents of Bojongkoneng, Bogor, Thursday, March 17.

Adies Kadir said that his party will coordinate with law enforcement officials to provide security to the community.

"We will coordinate with the West Java Regional Police and the Regional Police Chief, of course there are the Police Chief and the Sector Chief of Police," said Adies.

The legislator from the Golkar faction emphasized that land disputes in the villages of Bojong Koneng and Cijayanti should not be taken lightly by any party, either by law enforcement officials or the local government.

If it finds any unlawful act, said Adies, Commission III will not hesitate to summon the West Java Police Chief and ask residents not to be afraid to report it.

"If the quotation marks are correct, the backing is correct, in this case, there are still many good people. So we'll just have to wait," said Adies.
