JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria slipped his heart out (vent) while attending the socialization of activities with integrity within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

In front of the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Alexander Marwata, Riza admitted that he always came home late at night since serving as the number two person in DKI two years ago until now.

His wife, admitted Riza, also questioned why the wealth that was panned during his time as Deputy Governor of DKI did not increase.

"Pak Alex, I've been Deputy Governor for two years. At home, nothing has been added, sir. It's late at night. My wife said, two years, how come nothing has been added," said Riza at the DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Thursday, March 17th.

Even though his term of office has 6 months left before it ends in October 2022, Riza is still grateful. Because, Riza is sure that he will still get enough sustenance after leaving the position of Deputy Governor of DKI.

"Yes, basically it will be a blessing, I said. If we believe, God willing, God will give blessings. The sustenance has been arranged to get from where, where, when, from whom, how," he said.

On that occasion, Riza emphasized the importance of the family's role in maintaining the integrity of officials to the DKI Provincial Government ASN in preventing corruption. The spouses of DKI Provincial Government officials, according to Riza, need to remind their partners and become their first line of defense if there are certain temptations that lead to action. corruption.

"I invite all levels of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government ASN to continue to build better governance and which can prevent corrupt acts, services must be faster and more efficient without special fees. One example of how to prevent or counteract corrupt behavior is to re-explore the value of various local wisdom," he explained.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the Corruption Eradication Commission, Alexander Marwata, said that an example of maintaining integrity is that the spouses of DKI Provincial Government officials must know the income of their husband or wife. They should be suspicious if suddenly their husband or wife gets money that exceeds their income.

"So, when someone brings cash that is considered suspicious, there is also someone who reminds them of what money is this? Are salaries transferred? Now it must be explained. As long as it can be explained where the original source came from, okay, it doesn't matter," said Alexander.
