After Talking About Big Data Delaying Luhut's 2024 Election, Rocky Gerung Reveals The Palace's Agenda, Listen!

JAKARTA - Political observer Rocky Gerung assesses that the Palace is carrying out an agenda to increase the term of office of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) by one term.

This assessment was conveyed by Rocky after commenting on the claims of the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investments, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan regarding big data.

Luhut claimed that there was big data containing 110 million social media residents, one vote in favor of President Jokowi's power being extended.

"But I read from the start, this Palace has one project that cannot be thwarted, namely extending the presidency, whether it delays the election, or proposes three terms, which is still ongoing," he said, quoted by VOI from the Rocky Gerung Official YouTube account, Wednesday 16 March.

One of the efforts made to smooth the agenda is embracing the political elite. They will discuss the revival of the economic sector after being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic at the hands of President Jokowi. Next, said Rocky, big data emerged.

"The background is an attempt to persuade political figures to believe that President Jokowi's leadership will make Indonesia more prosperous, because of that big data of all kinds are bribed," said Rocky.

Previously, Luhut admitted that he had big data containing 110 million Twitter social media residents who wanted the 2024 election to be postponed. He explained that big data indicated the people's desire not to want divisions to occur, such as the emergence of "tadpoles" or "camprets" in the 2019 election.

Furthermore, Luhut said the election cost was very expensive, namely Rp. 110 trillion. In a situation like today, said Luhut, big data also contains people who do not agree that the election budget is spent when the economy is recovering due to the pandemic.

"Nowadays like this, he said, we are trying to catch the public [from big data], it says we want to spend more than Rp 100 trillion to vote [elections], this is a situation like this, what are you doing for the presidential and regional elections, right? simultaneously," said Luhut, quoted from the YouTube channel Deddy Corbuzier.
