JAKARTA - The National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit will investigate six public figures who have links to the suspect Doni Muhamad Taufik alias Doni Salmanan. This artist line-up checks to track the flow of funds.

"There are also four MH, DM, AMR, FR, DS, and DS that will be investigated," said the Director of Cyber Crimes at the Indonesian National Police, Brigadier General Asep Edi Suheri, to reporters on Tuesday, March 15.

The public figures plan to be questioned on Friday and next Monday. However, no further details were given regarding the time of the examination of each of these public figures.

"For the investigators' follow-up plan, on Friday this week and next Monday they will summon public figures who received money and goods related to the suspect DS," said Asep.

For information, one of the names dragged into the money laundering crime (TPPU) with the suspect Doni Salmanan is Arief Muhammad.

The examination was to explore the origin of Doni Salmanan's Porsche 911 Carrera 4S.

"We will investigate where the source came from," said Head of Sub-Directorate I Dittipidkor, Bareskrim Polri Kombes Reinhard Hutagaol.

The Porsche was originally owned by Arief Muhammad. However, it has been sold to Doni Salmanan for Rp. 4 billion.

However, for now, Reinhard cannot confirm whether Arief Muhammad's statement is necessary or not. This is because the investigator will decide.

Moreover, investigators are currently still focusing on tracing Doni Salmanan's assets for confiscation. “Not that way yet,” said Reinhard.
