BPBD DKI Reminds Us Of The Potential For Heavy Rain Today

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) provides an early warning to the public to be aware of the potential for heavy rain coupled with the high water level at the Angke Hulu floodgate post which enters alert level 2.

Reported by Antara, Tuesday, September 22, based on data from BPBD DKI Jakarta, weather forecasts from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency said that the DKI Jakarta area has the potential to experience heavy rain with strong winds accompanied by lightning or lightning for a duration of 2.45 WIB to 6.45 WIB.

Areas that need to be watched out for are Tebet South Jakarta, Setiabudi, Mampang Prapatan, Kebayoran Lama, Cilandak, Kebayoran Baru, Pesanggrahan, Pancoran, Pasar Minggu, Jagakarsa. Central Jakarta areas in Sawah Besar, Kemayoran, Gambir, Senen, Cempaka Putih, Menteng, Tanah Abang, and Johar Baru.

Apart from that, East Jakarta in Pulogadung, Jatinegara, Cakung, Matraman, Kramat Jati, Pasar Rebo, Duren Sawit, Makasar, Ciracas, Cipayung. North Jakarta area in Tanjung Priok, Penjaringan, Koja, Pademangan, Cilincing, Kelapa Gading.

Meanwhile, the West Jakarta area is in Tambora, Grogol Petamburan, Taman Sari, Cengkareng, Kebon Jeruk, Palmerah, Kalideres, and Kembangan.

Meanwhile, the water level at the Angke Hulu post has increased to 2 or alert since 01.00 WIB until now as the water discharge in Katulampa Dam Bogor is high. However, the water level at a number of other sluice posts in DKI Jakarta was observed to be normal or at the alert level 4.
