According to Danny, the Makassar Metaverse is a continuation of the previous program, namely Sombere and Smartcity, by combining local wisdom with current advances in information technology.
"Makassar to Metaverse City is a continuation of Sombere and Smartcity, which makes it easier to socialize the program. All programs are useful, not transactional, as a form of introduction we take positioning there, called Makaverse or Makassar Metaverse," he said.
He introduced a program using technology such as augmented reality which is said to have the advantage of helping interaction and facilitating the absorption of information displayed in cyberspace.
"This technology is very useful and can be used in all fields. We will live in the future, all will turn to technology. We can use it in all fields, in tourism, it can also be in education," he explained.
The rapid development of technology, said Danny, requires good adaptability. Makassar City already has a foundation, namely by implementing the Sombere and Smartcity system.
To maximize this, said Danny, requires good coordination, especially within the Makassar City Government. Therefore, during Pre-Rakosus 3 Danny Pomanto left several messages to improve the existing Smartcity system.
"It is necessary to fix the official SKPD website as soon as possible and update it regularly through their respective social media accounts," said Danny.
