Toyota Lexus Luxury Car In Rawamangun Hits Motorcycle Users And Escapes, Police Firmly Denies, Perpetrators Want Responsibility

JAKARTA – A motorcyclist became the victim of a hit-and-run by a Toyota Lexus luxury car user at the Arion red light intersection, Rawamangun, East Jakarta. It is known that the incident occurred on Friday, March 11, in the early hours of the morning.

As a result of the accident, the license plate of the Lexus car belonging to the crasher was left behind because it was stuck in the victim's motorbike.

Responding to the case, East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head AKBP Edy Surasa denied any information regarding a hit-and-run.

According to AKBP Edy, the accident was not a hit and run case as uploaded in the video.

"It was not a hit and run. Because the victims only suffered material losses and minor abrasions. The driver (of the car) is responsible," said AKBP Edy when contacted by VOI, Friday, March 11, afternoon.

Kasat confirmed that the victim only suffered minor injuries and material losses because his motorbike was damaged.

"No, it's not (running away) that those responsible were taken to the hospital. There are no reports either," he said.
