Next Week, Bareskrim Investigators Will Examine Doni Salmanan's Wife And Manager

JAKARTA - Bareksrim Polri investigators have scheduled an examination of Doni Salmanan's wife, Dinan Fajrina, as a witness in a criminal case of fraud on the Quotex platform and money laundering.

Together with Dinan, investigators also scheduled an examination of the witness who is Doni Salmanan's manager. Both will be examined next week.

"We have summoned the wife and manager of DS. We will check on Monday (14 March)," said Director of the Cyber Crime Directorate of the National Police Brigadier General Asep Edi Suheri in his statement, Friday, March 11.

Then, he said, investigators will also examine other witnesses. They will be asked for information to complete Doni Salmanan's former investigation. However, he did not specify who the witnesses were.

"We will check with other witnesses," said Asep. As for the confiscation of Doni Salmanan's assets, which were allegedly related to criminal acts, Asep could not comment much. He only emphasized that until now the investigation team is still conducting searches and the investigation process.

"The confiscation is in process," said Asep.

Doni Muhamad Taufik alias Doni Salmanan has been named a suspect in cases of alleged fraud under the guise of Quotex trading and money laundering (TPPU).

In that case, Doni Salmanan is suspected of Article 45 paragraph 1 junto 28 paragraph 1 of the ITE Law, Article 378 of the Criminal Code, and Article 3 of Law No. 8 of 2010 concerning the prevention of money laundering offences.
