JAKARTA - It is reported that President Joko Widodo will inaugurate the candidate for the Head of the Nusantara IKN Authority Agency, today, Thursday, March 10, at 15.00 WIB at the State Palace. Mentioned that will serve is Bambang Susantono. In response to this, the Chairman of the PKS DPP, Mardani Ali Sera, said that the appointment of the Head of the IKN Authority must be done carefully. Because, the task of the Head of IKN is heavy and very risky. Especially managing President Jokowi's very high expectations.

"Everyone chosen by Mr. Jokowi carries a heavy burden. Managing the President's high expectations," said Mardani, Thursday, March 10.

Moreover, he continued, IKN megaprojects require a fantastic budget. If it is mismanaged, said Mardani, it is not impossible that the budget estimated at Rp466 trillion could swell. Not to mention, he added, part of the state funds that should have been for the people were diverted for this project. Therefore, it takes a leader with a strong character to manage IKN Nusantara.

"Projects like the story of Roro Jonggrang need a leader with a strong character," continued Mardani. Regarding Bambang Susantono, who will become the Head of the IKN Nusantara Authority this afternoon, Mardani admitted that he did not have a problem. Whoever will be chosen, he said, the important thing is that they really have qualified abilities.

"It doesn't matter as long as political parties or non-political parties are involved. This is a big and risky project. Choosing the wrong captain will cost you a lot," he said.

The member of Commission II of the DPR also said that there are two capacities of IKN leaders that must be fulfilled, namely leadership and managerial. "Leadership will facilitate collaboration and direction of development. Managerial makes all the details. Can be controlled," said Mardani.
