PEN Fund For Land Acquisition For Flood Program Has Not Been Fully Absorbed, This Is The Reason Of The Deputy Governor Of DKI

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria admitted that there is still a national economic recovery loan (PEN) from the central government of Rp. 371 billion that has not been absorbed.

Meanwhile, the central government has reminded and granted the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government an extension of time to complete the program until the end of March 2022.

Riza said the remaining PEN funds would be spent on land acquisition for the expansion of the river's capacity. However, Riza admitted that his party must be careful in processing land acquisition.

"There are a lot of land acquisitions in Jakarta that need to be acquired. However, we also have to be careful not to have problems later on," Riza told reporters, Thursday, March 10.

Riza stated that similar programs related to land acquisition often cause disputes with the community whose land will be acquired. This has happened since the period of the previous governors.

"So, we don't want to buy (land) carelessly, as long as the program runs, then it turns out that it will leave problems later. So, we want to make sure the administration is good, there are no disputes, no problems in the future," he said. For information, Commission D The DKI DPR reminded the DKI Provincial Government to immediately absorb the PEN funds lent by the central government, through PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) until the end of March 2022.

In the flood prevention program, the DKI Water Resources Department received a PEN budget of Rp5.297 trillion for three years until 2022.

"Regarding the absorption of land purchases or land acquisition, it is quite low and uses the PEN budget. Yesterday, we asked for an extension of time, if in March there is only one month left, with the remaining 371 billion budget, it must be realized as soon as possible, "said Chairman of Commission D DPRD DKI Ida Mahcepat.

Meanwhile, the remaining IDR 371 billion of PEN funds are planned to be used for land acquisition in the capacity building program for 13 major rivers in Jakarta. Among them are the River or Kali Sunter which is located in the Cipinang Melayu Village, Pondok Bambu Village, and Cipinang Muara Village.

Furthermore, the Ciliwung River or River is located in Rawajati Village, East Pejaten Village, Tanjung Barat Village, Cawang Village, Bale Kambang Village, Cililitan Village and Gedong Village.
