ACEH - The Simeulue District General Hospital (RSUD), Aceh, consumes hundreds of oxygen cylinders every month during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Director of Simeulue Hospital Farhan said the monthly oxygen demand ranges from 300 to 340 tubes.

"The use of oxygen is not only for COVID-19 patients, but also for patients diagnosed with other diseases that require oxygen," said Farhan in Simeulue, Antara, Tuesday, March 8.

Regarding the availability of oxygen at the only hospital in the archipelago, Farhan said it was sufficient, especially for the needs of handling COVID-19 patients.

"The supply of oxygen in this hospital is relatively sufficient. Moreover, Simeulue Hospital has an oxygen filling machine that is always ready to operate," said Farhan.
