After Being Laid Off, PPSU Officer At Rawa Badak Selatan Jejen Sujana Will Undergo A Re-recruitment Process

JAKARTA - Recently, there has been a viral news that an officer for handling public infrastructure and facilities (PPSU) of South Rawa Badak sub-district, named Jejen Sujana, took a walk from the Pinus Elok Flats (Rusun) in Milling, East Jakarta, to City Hall, Wednesday, March 2. He wanted to meet the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, to convey his hope of being able to return to work as a PPSU officer.

The 43-year-old man's hopes can come true. The North Jakarta City Government invited Jejen to repeat the recruitment process as a candidate for PPSU officers.

The Head of South Rawa Badak Village, Suhaena, said that the recruitment team was waiting for the job application file as the first step in Jejen's re-recruitment process.

"He (Jejen Sujana) has met us, so we informed him to submit a job application as a PPSU candidate. The team will wait for the next week," said Suhaena in a written statement, as quoted by Antara, Sunday, March 6.

If later the recruitment process is declared passed, it is certain that Jejen can rejoin the other 62 PPSU officers of Rawa Badak Selatan Village. Even so, Suhaena asked Jejen to have high loyalty, discipline, and responsibility as a PPSU officer.

"The recruitment process is next week. He will also undergo a series of tests by the team," said Suhaena.

Regarding the previous problem, he emphasized that Jejen was not fired but was on the waiting list because he was ranked 65th in the final recruitment results.

Jejen had the opportunity to return to work because several recruiters resigned.

"Actually he (Jejen) was not fired but was put on the waiting list because his previous test results were low. So there was a PPSU officer who resigned, now he can re-enter," said Suhaena.

Meanwhile, Jejen Sujana expressed his gratitude for being given the opportunity to join the PPSU officer of the South Rawa Badak Village. The application file will be delivered to the PPSU recruitment team in Rawa Badak Selatan Village on Monday.

"Yesterday, we met in mediation with Mr. Ade Himawan (Camat Koja) and Mrs. Suhaena (Lurah RBS). I apologize for this incident and am ready to work again as a PPSU officer," said Jejen.
