Improving The 2022 Mechanism, Commander Andika Receives Presentation On Budget Management At Wisma Atlet RSDC

JAKARTA - The TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa received an explanation regarding the COVID-19 handling budget at the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Emergency Hospital (RSDC) and several other hospitals managed by the Jaya Regional Military Command (Kodam) and the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).

Initially, the Jaya Regional Commander gave an explanation regarding the management of personnel at the Wisma Athlete Hospital and the quarantine flow for the community.

Furthermore, seven Commitment Making Officers (PPK) in the Jaya/Jayakarta Kodam explained the budget for several hospitals managed by Kodam Jaya and BNPB to the TNI Commander via video conference.

"We want to carry out a better operation in 2022, therefore I really examine all the strengths and weaknesses of those carrying out the 2021 tasks," said the TNI Commander, quoted from General TNI Andika Perkasa's YouTube channel, Saturday, March 5.

The seven PPK members explained the budget, namely Asrendam Jaya, Aslog Kodam Jaya, Asops Kodam Jaya, Head of Health and Safety, Kazidam Jaya, Kahubdam Jaya, and Asintel Jaya.

All PPK Kodam Jaya submitted details of the budget used, from vendor invoices, to audits from the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) including the remaining unpaid bills. In addition, Asrendam also explained the budget mechanism that will run in 2021.

"Therefore, based on the explanation from BPKP, I need to follow up. After we are done with BPKP, we will announce the changes needed in the management of tasks that have been directly assigned to BNPB to Kodam Jaya," said the TNI Commander.

This presentation is an evaluation material with the TNI Commander, Deputy for Polhukam and PMK BPKP, as well as Deputy III BNPB, regarding the budget mechanism for the task of handling COVID-19. The TNI Commander hopes that there will be improvements to the mechanism in the future so that there are no loopholes that could become a source of problems.
