Gibran Rakabuming Responds To Bhre's Appointment As Mangkunegara X

SOLO - Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka responded to the appointment of GPH Bhre Cakrahutomo Wira Sudjiwo as KGPAA Mangkunegara X to continue the throne of Kanjeng Gusti Pangeran Adipati Arya (KGPAA) Mangkunegara IX.

"Last night he called me. Later on the 12th (March), yes, (inauguration)," he said in Solo as reported by Antara, Tuesday, March 2.

Alluding to the age of Bhre who is still young enough to take the throne as Duke of Mangkunegara, according to Gibran, this is not an obstacle.

"Once again, this is not a matter of old or young. However, how can all the citizens and figures in Solo have one vision and one mission. These are difficult times, times of emergency, and periods of economic recovery. All must work together hand," he said.

Besides Bhre, he also welcomed the appointment of the crown prince of the Surakarta Sunanate Kingdom KGPH Purbaya at the 18th Tingalandalem Jumenengan Sampeyandalem Ingkang Sinuhun Kanjeng Susuhunan (SISKS) Pakoe Boewono XIII at the Surakarta Hadiningrat Kasunanan Palace, last Sunday, February 27.

He hopes that these young figures can come up with more creative and innovative programs for the City of Solo.

He said that the presence of young people is important for acceleration and innovation. "The arts and culture are not a problem, they are still accompanied by seniors and elders," he said.

Regarding the planned meeting with GPH Bhre Cakrahutomo Wira Sudjiwo and KGPH Purbaya, Gibran said, "Tomorrow try not to meet Gusti Bhre. He is still in Jakarta, the plan is to return to Solo on Wednesday. With Gusti Purbaya there is also no communication. he's in Semarang, yes, he's still in college."
