JAKARTA - The Electricity Inspector Team of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources went directly to the field to conduct monitoring inspections of electricity recovery in flood-affected areas in DKI Jakarta, West Java and Banten, from Thursday 2 January to today, Friday 3 January.

In West Java, six UP3s under the PLN West Java Distribution work area were affected by flooding. Of the 2,689 units of distribution substations that were affected by the flood, 2,334 units were normalized (87 percent) and 355 units were still out (13 percent).

In Banten, six UP3s under the PLN Banten Distribution work area were affected by flooding. Of the 598 distribution substations affected by the flood, 480 units have been normalized (80 percent) and 118 units are still out (20 percent).

PLN has also reportedly alerted 3,200 personnel to restore electricity after the flood that hit Jabodetabek.
