JAKARTA - The Netherlands will supply 200 air defense rockets to Ukraine as soon as possible, the Dutch government announced in a letter to parliament, Saturday, February 26, 2022.
The letter also said the government would move Dutch embassy staff from the western Ukrainian city of Lviv to Jaroslaw, across the border in Poland, due to deteriorating security.
Based on a request from Ukraine, "The Netherlands will provide 200 Stinger air defense rockets," the letter said, quoted by Antara.
"Together with our allies, the Ministry of Defense intends to deliver these items as quickly as possible."
The missiles are in addition to other equipment for Ukraine that the Netherlands had promised earlier this month, including rifles, ammunition, radar systems, and mine detection robots.
