Absent For Two Days Of Blusukan In Tangsel, Sara Denies Exposure To COVID-19

JAKARTA - The candidate for deputy mayor of South Tangerang, Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, denied that he was exposed to COVID-19 after being absent from blusukan for two days. Sara said, for the past two days, she was busy with party school activities held by PDI Perjuangan.

"I am attending an online Party School organized by PDI Perjuangan, it is not true that the information is that I am positive for COVID-19, apparently I miss it," said Sara as quoted from her written statement, Monday, September 14.

His running mate, Muhammad, also participated in this party school activity. Meanwhile, Sara conducted this party school for three days from Sunday, September 13 to Tuesday, September 15.

In this party school activity, the nephew of the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto said he had learned a lot from the party school. One of them is related to alignments.

"The obligation of the local government to support women and children in order to provide protection for women and all children of the nation must be a commitment for every candidate in the regional elections," he said.

This learning is important, because as a candidate for election to the Mayor of South Tangerang, Muhammad-Sara must know what the community they lead needs if elected.

"Babeh Muhamad and I must understand, feel and practice what we have learned if we want to realize our determination and hopes for the City of South Tangerang," he said.

"I have a lot to learn and hear from my seniors and experts in their fields," he added.

PDIP held the third batch of regional head candidate school activities which were attended by 212 participants from internal and non-party cadres. In the school, the participants received a number of materials ranging from implementing Pancasila to anti-corruption education.

Previously, Rahayu Saraswati ran with South Tangerang Regional Secretary Muhammad at the Pilwalkot Tangsel. The parties that support Muhammad and Sara are PDI Perjuangan, Gerindra, NasDem, PAN, Hanura, PSI, Perindo, Garuda Party, and the Berkarya Party.
