JAKARTA - A female motorcyclist with the initials S (40) was found dead on Jalan Tipar Cakung, East Jakarta, Thursday, February 24. East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head AKBP Edy Surasa said the victim died after being hit by a city transportation car (angkot).

Edy also said that the angkot was traveling from Semper to Cakung. Meanwhile, the motorbike driven by the victim came in the opposite direction from Cakung to Semper.

"As soon as it was right on the high bridge, West Cakung, the angkot was about to overtake. Suddenly a motorbike appeared, that's where the collision occurred. The accident happened there," explained Edy.

According to witnesses, the victim bounced and died on the spot with several injuries.

Meanwhile, the East Jakarta Metro Police Satlantas Police have summoned the victim's family.

Meanwhile, the Police are still asking for information from a number of eyewitnesses related to the incident at the East Jakarta Traffic Unit.
