Of The 148 Villages In Mukomuko, Only 10 Have Applied For Village Funds

MUKOMUKO - The Department of Community and Village Empowerment of Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province said that so far only 10 of the 148 villages in this area have applied for the distribution of village funds for phase I of 40 percent.

"As many as 10 of the 148 villages that have applied for village funds are spread over four sub-districts in this area," said the Head of the Village Government of the Mukomuko Regency Village and Community Empowerment Service, M Padli in Mukomuko, Antara, Tuesday, February 22.

He said, of the 10 villages that had applied for village funds, the application files belonged to nine villages that had reached the Regional Finance Agency (BKD), while the application files belonging to one village were still with this service.

There are still 138 more villages in this area that have not applied for the distribution of village funds because they have not completed the special village deliberations (musdesus).

These hundreds of villages had to conduct musdesus, one of which was to determine residents belonging to the economically poor as candidates for direct village cash assistance (BLT-DD).

After that, he said, the recipients of the BLT-DD were determined by a decree from the village head. After that, only the APBDes was determined and the village submitted the distribution of village funds to the office.

Furthermore, his party asked the village government in this area to immediately complete the Musdesus and propose the distribution of village funds and the allocation of village funds for phase I of 40 percent.

Meanwhile, he stated that the village fund budget for 148 villages in this area in 2022 was Rp. 114 billion, or a decrease of Rp. 9 billion compared to 2021.

"The initial ceiling for village funds in 2022 is IDR 114 billion, a decrease of IDR 9 billion compared to this year's IDR 123.16 billion," he said.
