JAKARTA - Commission A for the Administration of the DKI Jakarta DPRD is taking issue with the recruitment pattern for other individual service provider employees (PJLP) within the DKI Provincial Government.

Member of Commission A DPRD DKI Bambang Kusumanto assessed that currently the number of PJLP has greatly exceeded capacity. Currently, the DKI Provincial Government PJLP has reached 85,304 people.

In fact, said Bambang, the number of PJLP recruited must be based on workload analysis in terms of improving the quality of supporting staff to serve residents.

"In the management of the PJLP, there must be a performance-based budget analysis, the available resources must meet the outcomes or outputs," Bambang was quoted as saying on the official website of the DKI DPRD, Tuesday, February 22.

Therefore, Bambang asked the DKI Provincial Government to evaluate by reviewing the PJLP recruitment system with an analysis of its workload.

The analysis must later be complete with the fulfillment of clear assessment indicators. Especially, in the procurement of PJLP in the field of cleanliness and security.

"There must be clear assessment indicators, what it looks like is safe, what it looks like and so on," he said.

Continuing, Member of Commission A DPRD DKI Agustina Hermanto or Tina Toon also asked the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) to be more credible and on target in managing PJLP.

“Don't just use theories, there must be clearer implementation in the field. How to implement it, because creating good governance also requires right people, what kind of real solution is needed,” said Tina Toon.

Tina Toon then suggested that the DKI BKD immediately coordinate internally with field assistants and all SKPD heads to discuss the PJLP phenomenon which has exceeded its current capacity.

"So, we have to sit down together so that it will be calculated again if there is a problem in our human resources. Don't just coordinate today at BKD and then to us (Commission A) but there is no solution," he said.
