Gatot Subroto BRI Tower Will Be Completed In June 2021

JAKARTA - State-owned construction and investment company PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) conducted a topping off ceremony for the construction of the Gatot Subroto BRI Tower project which was held on Thursday afternoon, September 10 yesterday.

The topping off ceremony was also attended by the President Director of PT BRI (Persero) Tbk Sunarso, Deputy President Director of PT BRI (Persero) Tbk Catur Budi Harto, President Director of the Company Novel Arsyad, Director of Operations I of the Company Anton Satyo Hendriatmo, SVP of the Andek Building Division Prabowo, SVP Corporate Secretary Yuyus Juarsa, CCM Deputy President Director Raditya Sasongko, management of PT BRI (Persero) Tbk.

The Gatot Subroto BRI Tower construction project located in Jakarta is targeted to be completed in June 2021. The project, which is owned by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI), has a contract value of IDR 887 billion.

PTPP is trusted by BRI to work on the construction of the Gatot Subroto BRI Tower. The scope of work carried out by PTPP includes substructure work, upper structural work, steel work, architectural work, and Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) work.

The Gatot Subroto BRI Tower construction project consists of five basement floors, five podium floors, and 32 tower floors. On the podium floor covering floors 1 to floor 5 is a floor that will function as a public area.

Meanwhile, the 20th floor is a refugee floor which functions as a floor for protection in the event of an earthquake or fire.

"This topping off ceremony is an important milestone from a stage of construction of a high-rise building, where the main structural work has been completed well. However, we still have homework to complete the building work until it is completed, which is targeted for June 2021," said the President Director. PTPP, Novel Arsyad in a written statement received by VOI, Friday 11 September.

Novel Arsyad added that the Gatot Subroto BRI Tower construction project was carried out and led by the Young Project Manager (PM) and is one of the millennial generation owned by PTPP. In this era, where there are many big challenges in the development of technological advances and development, PTPP is required to continue to produce new millennial generations so that they can contribute to the development and progress of the Indonesian nation.

Meanwhile, continued Novel Arsyad, with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic situation that has hit the entire world, one of which is in Indonesia, PTPP continues to implement and improve strict health protocols for each of its project implementation processes.

"With the implementation of good and strict health protocols, we prove that the projects being carried out can still run well and normally. One example is the construction of the Gatot Subroto BRI Tower," he explained.
