Kaltara Police Arrest 2 Malaysian Citizens Courier 30.7 Kg Of Sabu

TARAKAN - The North Kalimantan Police Team arrested two Malaysian citizens suspected of being shabu couriers with the initials MH (32) and A (41). The arrests were made at the Twin Pancang Tower, Bunyu Sea Waters, Bulungan Regency, with 30.72 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine as evidence.

"The arrests by the Reskoba Directorate with suspects MH and A with evidence of one suitcase containing 22 packs of methamphetamine and a bag containing six packs of methamphetamine wrapped in duct tape with a total weight of 30.72 kg," said Kaltara Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya in Tanjung Selor, Bulungan quoted by Antara, Friday, February 18.

Daniel explained that the methamphetamine would be delivered to a person with the initials U who is currently on the wanted list (DPO) at the Pancang Twin Towers in Bunyu Sea Waters, Bulungan.

"The 28 packs of methamphetamine have been prepared in a speed boat by a person with the initials W in Tawau, Malaysia," said Daniel.

This methamphetamine delivery route from the waters of the Buaya River, Tawau, Malaysia to the Twin Pancang Tower in Bunyu Sea Waters, Bulungan by sea. The plan is for U to take the methamphetamine and then take it to Palu, Central Sulawesi.

"The evidence of 30.72 kilograms of methamphetamine that was successfully secured is estimated to have saved approximately 60 thousand users," he said.

Meanwhile, the second case that was successfully revealed was 928.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine with the suspect initials A (40), where the incident occurred on the edge of Jalan Sengkawit, Tanjung Selor, Bulungan.

"Evidence was found in a bag on the motorcycle seat containing 11 packs of methamphetamine. From the suspect's confession, the methamphetamine was obtained from a friend with the initials P who entered the DPO," said Daniel.

There is also a shipping route for the methamphetamine from Tarakan to Tanjung Selor and the plan is to send it to Berau, East Kalimantan.
