Critical Teen In Hospital, Allegedly Shot By A Stray Bullet During Brawl In Kramatjati

JAKARTA - Fadillah Rafi (19) is suspected of being shot by a stray bullet in the Kramatjati area, East Jakarta.

The victim's lawyer, Rusdianto said, the incident began when Rafi stopped his motorbike because there was a brawl at the location.

"He couldn't pass there because he said there was a local brawl, to be precise in front of the Jasa Marga building. Of course he pulled his motorbike aside," said Rusdianto when contacted, Thursday, February 17.

When Rafi pulled his motorbike aside, he was suddenly hit by a shot that went to his stomach. This incident occurred on Friday, February 11th.

"He was shot in the stomach and lodged in the intestine," he said.

The victim was immediately brought by a friend to several hospitals and health centers.

"Finally entered the RSCM. Immediately action was taken, operated on to remove projectiles in his body," he said.

In the morning, the victim made a report to the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters. Report registered with number LP/B/748/II/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya on 11 February 2022.

"At that time, the police took the ball to the RSCM. He called the doctor, took the projectile," he said.

Rusdianto hopes that his client's case will soon become clear. Because, until now they have not received clarity from the police.

"We are not clear on who the perpetrators are, how the conditions in the field are also unclear. The handling process is very slow," he said.

"Obviously, this is different when the police have been robbed. That night, the culprit was arrested. It's been almost a week," he added.

Confirmed separately, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan confirmed the report of an alleged stray bullet incident that resulted in the victim suffering gunshot wounds.

However, Zulpan did not explain in detail about the report.

He only said that currently investigators from the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Polda Metro Jaya are investigating and investigating the case.

"Still investigating (investigation), handled by Ditreskrimum," said Zulpan.
